Just installed the Diverter valves and boost hose kit for 996TT
Hi guys, I gotta a set of brand new Diverter Valves (billet) and Silicon boost hose kit(forge) from my buddy and he helped me to install both yesterday. I'm wondering does it need any set up or fine tune for the Diverter valves and actually how does the diverter valves work? Because after installation I don't feel any difference. thx so much !!

With what you've done, you shouldn't feel a difference... assuming your original DVs were working properly.
Diverter valves (aka Blow-off/bypass valves) work by "diverting" air out of the pressure system when the throttle plate is closed, after a boost run. Helps prolong turbo life expectancy, as well as recover boost quicker when you get back on the throttle.
Truth be told, if there wasn't anything wrong with your original valves, there was no need to change them. Kinda like changing an already working light bulb for a really expensive light bulb...that's just shiny.

Not sure what's going on...that should have helped you pick up at least 100 HP.
Joking aside, nice upgrades. Like BauerR said, not necessarily needed...but potentially good supporting mods (if you're planning certain other mods).
