I dont know. Porsche sheet metal is pretty stout, but I doubt it would be worth it to do, would probably cost a fortune. How much weight are you trying to lose, and for what purpose? Would you consider RWD?

I came across a website that makes fiberglass and carbon body panels, hoods, wings, etc for porsches but I see the quarters are for non-turbos anyway ($2300 a pair). I only drive the car on weekends and track it when I can, but don't have the budget for the big time. I want some cheap hp until I can get my turbo kit. I've shed 110 lbs this weekend per this thread. Isn't the RWD convert pricey?
RWD is free if you want the cheap version, but if you take that on the track you arent going to be happy. You'll need an LSD, Coilovers, Corner Balance, Alignment which will cost you in the neighborhood of 8-10k with labor.

Thats what I figured; the coilovers, alignment, balance are in the plan but not an LSD. Is the RWD useless without an LSD?
How many are running the stock decklid/spoiler with the motor removed (in the down position) for weight savings? Is the loss of downforce at speed negligable?
Can anyone recommend a good steering wheel / hub setup that removes the airbag ? Anyone got pics of their setup ? (track car btw)

Is that a foto of the door on the car? I did not think you could put glass on these CF doors but only plexiglass that do not roll up or down?
Thanks
Robert

There are a lot of items on the lightening list that have better cost-benefit ratio. Quarter panels are way down near the bottom of that list. So is the RWD conversion and the rear spoiler (fixed down).
