The TT at that weight with mildly modded engine, upgraded brakes say GT3 6 pistons and a good suspension would certainly be one of the fastest cars on the track!!!!
Dag Nabit! I forgot about brakes, that means I need to phase it into one of the phases. Wont I lose some weight there too with some Carbon Ceramics.
I also need to check the tire weights as well as that may save me a few lbs. I may be able to get this thing under 3k lbs.
Dont worry Jenk it will take me a while to get down to 3000 lbs but phase II starts real soon as I have Turbo Twists in the mail, GT3 seats soon to be in the mail, gonna have neil remove the front bumper support and follow Als instructions on how to remove the rear seats. I imagine phase III wont start until late this year for next year. You better get your driving skills on. We got corvettes and vipers to crush. I feel better with my car having 250 less lbs to stop in the corners, my brakes will thank me. Plus from what Neil keeps telling me there will be a couple of 700 hp turbos at the track this year too, I HATE LOSING!
EDIT: Added the brembo's to the weight loss column.

here are my new Rotora brakes... 355 mm rotors with 6 piston fronts and 4 pistons rears... rotors are 17LBS, the 6 piston calipers are around 7 lbs. and the 4 piston rears are 6 lbs...
not bad...

The bumperettes come off with the bumper .. then Im thinking of putting a black or silver mesh from the inside....

I really like the weight loss achieved by removing the bumper supports...but I'm very hesitant to remove them. Without them, one relatively slow speed rear hit could mean; "bye, bye" engine.
So you removed the rear bumper supports Markski? Did you weigh them? More info please
it weighs 10 lbs...( just the actual bumper not the bumper stops.... those are probably another 15lbs.

Yeah I agree, I'll have to find another way to lose that 20 lbs, I'll do the fron though.
