Both K24/S60's and current K24/GT35's were the same. Once I fed the motor all of the turbo it needed the additional compressor size did not make a difference. The S60 is 32lbs and the Gt35 is 38lbs. IMHO the K24/18g is the perfect combo.

Dang Scott you put down 580 RWHP and ran 10.6 that is aswome. What all was done to your car at that time? Looks like I was beat to the punch....
John & str8blst,
I was running Protomotive K24/18g's, I/C's, fuel system, intake, tune, Fabspeed muffler and RWD conversion. Car was making around 675 at the crank at 1.3 BAR on stock internals. I fully expect my new setup to be considerably faster.
The GIAC K24 program is not right for the K16/24 hybrid turbos in my opinion. I have that setup currently and could only get 470 AWHP and am having flat spots and rick AFR at 4K in 4th gear. My philosophy is that due to the different air handling capabilities of the hybrids the program must be modified in order to deliver less fuel to match the redused air flow of the hybrid. Someone help me... I am talking over my head... maybe?

Scott what was done to your fuel system? I have the Protomotive ECU, 5 bar FRP, K24/18 Protomotive w/WG, DV's, Greddy BC, Fabspeed, & plugs. Like I said I need to get mine on a AWD dyno but what do you think my current set it would put down? Also how much would a fuel upgrade add if you know? Thanks, John
Scott had what mine is gettting.
larger fuel injectors, custom fuel pumps,
custom fabbed intercoolers with hard piping, custom intake,
I am also adding custom fabbed larger throttle body and headers.
Scott's new system will give even the GT800's alot to think about...and then
some!
Grey Ghost, I believe you are correct, with Kevin's turbos you are best off
with Kevin's custom programming.

Sold; (8) Porsches...what next ? TX MI: I went 190 mphbefore it was fashionable
I had 60lb injectors, upgraded fuel pumps, and 5 BAR FPR.
With your setup, I'm guessing close to 500 awhp. The upgraded fuel system would require you to add more and denser air to take full advantage of it; i.e, Proto intake and better I/C's.
There sure are a lot of options out there, I can see where it would be confusing to someone just looking at modding their turbo. A same day dyno with all the different cars, running the different turbo options would be the idea way to compare. Even running on the drag strip brings variables like different track conditions, temps, altitude, driver ability etc...
Sure is nice to have options, I remember back in 2002 we were all wanting even one tuning option!
If a group of tuners arranged a dyno shootout with drives in their cars for prospective buyers, I would fly anywhere in the US to see first hand all of my choices.

Stay tuned. We've done this in the past.
