No 9-second run for me...but I did trap 148 mph:)

Well, I got 3 full runs in today (had another where I mis-shifted and just cruised through the traps).

First run didn't get filmed. My camera guy had the lens cap on. It was a "feeler" run so I could see how the car and track felt. Ran a 10.54 @ 145 with a 2.17 60'.

The second run was supposed to be more aggressive, but I messed it up! I hit a semi-decent 1.86 60', but spun in second and hit the rev-limiter. It cost me big time on that run!! Frustrating, but it ended being my best run of the day. It was 10.45 @ 146.8.

After that, Test and Tune was unexpectedly cut short. They announced they were starting brackets in :15 minutes, so I went out and did one more run with the intent of hitting a slow 60', in order to prevent wheelspin to get an accurate trap speed. 60' was a purposely slow 2.35, and ended up running 10.83 @ 148.01.

I would have liked a few more chances to hit a 9.X today, but it would have been very difficult with these tires. Regardless of the E.T....I'm thrilled with my trap speed. The car is an absolute monster, and I couldn't be happier.

mother of god! scott you have got one rather fast, to say the least, turbo. looks and sounds great. with a 1.86 60' there is absolutely a 9 second pass in your future. just gotta work on the launch technique. awesome pass!

One thing I forgot to mention that KPG and a few others might find interesting:

I had my P-box in the car today, and during my 10.45 run my 60-130 time was only 5.4...compared to my best of 4.9. It was about 10 degrees warmer today than it was when I hit the 4.9.

I'm confident with a set of 17" MT street slicks, some weight removal, and a few more launches....the car would do very, very well.

But it's done drag-racing. Well, for now at least.

even more impressive...come out to englishtown or atco here in NJ scott and see what you run here. im down to go. all things considered, temp, 60-130, theres a good amount of room for improvement (i mean that in a good way). i think your car could ligitimately pull a 9.8 1/4 mile. keep up the good work.
