Exclamation Downforce 996 C4 / Turbo Rear Diffuser & 996 Turbo Rear Spats

Hello everyone!

Some of you might know about Downforce and some of you might not. Downforce is a carbon and composite manufacturer known in the Acura NSX and Honda S2000 world for the quality products they offer.

Here's bit more on the quality of their parts:

QUALITY
It's no secret why DF products are superior:
We do not use inferior or low grade imported raw materials from China or use expired materials. Don't be fooled by import companies with absolutely no knowledge of composites and utilize slave labor rates from China. There is no such thing or in existence as a Grade A carbon fiber. The only high grade carbon fiber available are certified spec and only a few carbon fiber manufacturers can produce certified spec carbon fiber; and yes we do use MIL spec carbon fiber and certified carbon fiber exclusively from Hexcel. Our huge processing volume allows us to cut through drums of resin per week. We always stocking fresh materials and only the best. DF is constantly investing in research and development to innovate new processes and material usage. You can have the confidence in Downforce knowing your products was made with experienced craftsmanship and actual engineering.

Did you know most of the carbon fiber parts made in China or Taiwan weighs more than the part it replaced? These so called carbon fiber parts are just sloppy splash up parts with fiberglass splinters showing on the backside. You will notice these parts are painted black in areas to cover up cosmetic flaws. We have seen many products that will end up damaging your car because they were never tested or engineered to begin with. You have seen carbon fiber hoods without hood pins will snap open while driving or spoilers that are so heavy that it bends the trunk hinges. Or bodykits that flap on the highway. Many of the products from China will make your car look worse, without spending big dollars to fix the fitment and the wavy ripples.

DF takes pride in our quality products MADE IN THE USA! Every DF part is produced in-house in our facility using the most up to date tooling technology and our own proprietary processes. Pls. do not invest in companies that put up a facade and sell imported products from China that are created with inferior materials. DF uses MIL spec carbon fiber and certified carbon fiber exclusively from HexcelŽ. DF only use raw materials from the USA, Canada, Germany, Japan, France, UK, Italy and Australia. You will not find a "Made in China" product here. DF is not just an automotive aftermarket company, but a true OE manufacturer with full production capabilities
.

Now they offer some great looking parts for your 996 C4 and 996 Turbo models, please take a look.

also, a question for those in the know. Is there any way that sealing up the bottom of the car will affect cooling of turbos and other components?

I'll have to check with them, I'm not 100% that something like this has been tested on a wind tunnel.

As far as I know it doesn't cover the turbos, just the center area, the turbos, headers are left uncovered, and the side spats just attach to the sides of the bumper.

It really is hard to say from the pics. We definitely need better pics, to make a true judgment call.
