I think this is ridiculous! I can understand $5000 but look at it. You can buy a used 996 for $20K-30K, ok now add $10K for the Supercharger and an extra $2000 if you dont install it yourself, you only get 420HP.
You can buy a 997/997 Turbo with 450HP for the same price! not to mention the 996 Engine will not handle 420HP for long. Look at all the problems that motor has with 300HP, Spinning Bearings, Intermittent Shafts Breaking and other huge issues, you are nuts to waste $10K unless you build the bottom end and by then you will have so much money into that motor.
You take the $10K-$20K your going to waste on that 996 Non-Turbo, Buy a 996/997 Turbo and put that money in it and you will lay down 600HP+.
