Anyone recommend Liqui Moly vs. Mobil 1.

I was thinking of going to a local Euro Service/Repair shop that services European cars including Porsche. My only concern was he did not recommend Mobil 1 and was using Liqui Moly instead. What's your thoughts and recommendations. Thanks.

I'm currently using Mobil 1 now, but was just curious to see if anyone has heard and switched over to Liqui Moly. It seems like not too many people has heard of it, so I'm sticking with Mobil 1. Thanks for the responses.

Liqui Moly is a great oil.. but you figured Porsche has spent millions in R&D... They use Mobil 1 for a reason. No need to experiment. My 2 cents.

Liquimoly and Lubrication Engineers are my two favorite oils. It's what I'll be using when my '09 Carrera S arrives. It is much more popular in Germany than Mobil products. Here's their website: www.liqui-moly.com You can also do more research about them at www.bobistheoilguy.com Good luck!

my indy shop's owner is the chief crew guy for a gt3 cup team. he says they use liqui moly as it's held up very well under harsh race conditions... and he uses it on his customer cars as well.

i believe liqui moly is on porsche's approved list 0w-40.
