How to install iPorsche - iPod integration system

I've written up instructions how to install the iPorsche, a device that helps 99-02 996/986 owners to integrate their iPods into their stock stereo systems. Send me a PM for more information.

Things you'll need:
1 iPorsche kit
1 T20 Torx Screwdriver
~30 minutes of your time
Also, make sure you know your radio code.

Installation instructions can be found HERE

It does work with the iPod and the iPhone.
I haven't had a chance to test it with the iTouch yet but I'll let you know!

beegee
does this work with the CDR-220 with a CD changer attached? I'm guessing that since the CD changer uses the AUX and the iPod integration system is using the same AUX, then this is not possible.

please let me know.

Thanks!

You are correct.
It does work with the CDR-220 but not at the same time as the CD Changer.
I figured most people with iPods have already uploaded their CD collections to their iPod anyway.
Not to mention you can get 200+ for your CD changer on eBay

how's the responsive of the controls?

i have an apline deck, but just curious how others with a simpler, more affordable solution are getting their sound from their ipod.
