HID Retrofit for 996: H7 Xenon Kit from Vertex

Just curious, has anyone done the H7 Xenon Retrofit on their 2003+ 996 (available on ebay, see link below):

If so, how do you like it? I'm also trying to decide between 4300k or 6000k. I want the most OEM looking color (whiteish). Would 4300k be closer, or 6000k?

I did one (not from Vertex includes the ballast etc.). It is ok for the money but not that great. Bulbs are brighter but I didnt think the distance was any better. I went back to Halogen H7 and got the PIAA 55=100 bulbs and that is fine. Just an opinion.

We have done this upgrade a number of times but be careful as to which units you use... some of the cheaper kits have been known to overheat and burn the lens causing a browning affect. If you get a quality kit this can be a very useful upgrade. Here is a write up we did awhile back:

I'm not sure which server those pictures were on, I'll see fi I can track them down.
