Now my car smells like burnt toast when i start it up...

Ok so my 996 has been sitting in my garage since the wreck yesterday...i had to run to school so I had to take my car and as soon as I cranked it and started backing out...it smelled like burnt toast badly...so bad i smelt it in the cabin with the windows up! I heard this is bad...and after I got back i parked it and it was smelling really bad like something else...burning oil or something...I hope insurance just totals my car...sounds like a lot of problems....
