2003 996 C2 loose steering
Happy Holidays! I'm new to this forum, I just bought a 2003 C2 with 42k on her. I replaced all 4 wheels and had them balanced using the hunter road force balanced and then had them rechecked. I had the car alignment done at the same time. But ever since I had the car, the steering feels loose at high speeds 65mph +. Anyone have any ideas what it could be? Thanks again for the help

Check the alignment settings to ensure they did it within specs. I would also check the lower steering tie rods and lower control arms. Perhaps the rubber bushings in the lower control arms are worn which can create the loose feeling or the tie rod or rods are bent.
The easier check is the tires. Are they out-of-round or already have a flat spot or uneven wear? You mentioned you replaced all 4 wheels so I assume you replaced the tires too. It does not happen often, but new tires could be defective.
Lastly, some tires are better than others. What tires are you using and are they OEM sizes?
