I have the Focal 5WS in my doors. They were the predecessors to the 13KS. It will take a little dremelling of the ribs in the enclosures, then they should fit fine. You should make sure your seal the mounting, I used silicon on mine.

I have 13KS in My door. I had to make the adopter to fit in perfect. First, you need to me the adopert to fill factory speaker posision to make it flat. Nest issue is back of the speaker(magnet part) touches to the door when it goes loud, so I made the adoptor 1/4 inch thicker. Then problem solved. If you go 2/1 or more, it touch speaker grill. Anyway, the sound is definetery weak with only 2 small sub. I'm running 2 pewerful amps. I added 2 more 6 1/2" subs in back making custom sub enclosure. That made such a nice musical subs working perfect. I've seen some people installed shallow subs under the passenger seat with GT3 seat. I have cross over is there, so i can't have them tho.

Unfortunaely i can find the notebook with all the specs on the Focal 5WS, and as they are no longer made they aren't on Focals website. But I fit them in the OEM enclosres with only a little dremeling on the ribs. they are designed for a small enclosure. I think the 13KS are almost the same size, and designed for a small enclosure. the depth of the speakers behind the mounting flanges is only 66mm. So they should fit, you might have to make a small ring to move them out a bit. I wiil try to find the info so I can compare the 5WS to the 13KS.

As to the sound, they are so much better than the OEM it is not to believe. Now they are only 5.5", so even with a good amp you are not going to get gut wrenching sound, but we are driving Porsches, and I personally don't need to shake the cars next to me. Just wanted great stereo sound. And with 100KP's in the dash, 100CP's in the rear, 5WS's in the doors and a JL Audio E6450 amp I have a great sounding system, even with the stock head.
