Porsche rates the Pirelli P-Zero Rosso N4 the highest for both dry and wet handling. However, my pick would be the Continental ContiSportContact2 N2.

For non-Porsche N-rated, my pick would be the Sumitomo HTR Z III.

Michelin PS2, better wear and wet performance than the P-Zero. Also the P-Zero get really loud after a little wear.

+1 for Sumitomo HTR Z III. I like a lot better than my P Zeros.

I've had the Michelins and am now running Continentals.I like the Continentals better. They're quieter and a bit smoother.

Used to run on Michelins PS2's. Great tire but expensive and they don't last. This spring I got the Sumitomo HTR Z III. Very happy with the performance, road noise, etc...
I also believe they are the best tire for the money. Many p-car owners are running them, have not seen a negative post.
I purchased through Tirerack, also a good place for more info/reviews.

I'll be moving to Sumitomo HTR Z III's. The car currently is on PS2's. I'm happy with the performance, but they are pricey.

Cool

I would also vote on giving the Sumitomos a try.

The price is incredible and the reviews are good.

The N rating or lack thereof means absoutly nothing to me.

What are planning on doing with the car? Cruising down mainstreet, spirited driving in the hills, autoX, track days? That could influence what we may recommend.

Considering that the rubber is the only thing between you and the pavement, I wouldn't cheap out on the tires...
