clutch discussion...

So,

I have a 2000 C2 drop top with 46K miles... I am having a few clutch questions... It appears to me as the clutch release point (point where I release clutch and pick up with gas) changes time to time... Also sometimes if I am planning to take off a bit harder from light for example as I am releasing clutch and hitting the gas the car makes a loud whinin/moaning noise... Any clues? is my clutch going out? Should I get the tranny/clutch fluid flushed?

All advices welcome

thank you,
Paul

Maybe you should take it to your trusted Porsche mechanic and get his opinion. That's exactly what I would do!

Have you bled the clutch? Usually when they are starting to go the pedal will get stiffer.

Another test is to get into a higher gear at a lower rpm, 3,000 or so then accelerate hard, if the rpm's increase faster than the speed the clutch is slipping.
