Wing for C4S

Just bought a 2004 C4S and I like it very much but I'm starting to get wing envy. Will this feeling pass or is there a wing that is "acceptable" on the C4S? I always hated seeing turbo tails on narrow body carreras in the 80's so I don't want to be that guy... but I do like the looks of the larger wings. Any suggestions or should I just leave it alone?

TIA,
Matt

Have a look. Vivid Racing has most after market manufacturers represented although they are not a Techart autorized dealer. A ton to choose from.

Yeah, I've seen a ton of options and I like a few of the choices but I just wanted to know what the general consensus was regarding wings on the C4S's. Thanks for the advice...

No worries. Sometimes I think the bigger wings try to make the car something it isn''t.....like a Turbo or GT car.

That's the dilemma. I like the look of the GT2 wings but don't want to get this reaction...

Personally......I'm torn....I've spent countless hours looking at wings.

The right set-up.....body kit...lowering.... gives the car a better profile and stance....a more aggressive wing fits well then...

Regardless....the car is still a rocket.

I have a Aero Carrera Rear Wing on my C4S Cab. I wanted to change the wing to a GT2 Type wing but some of my friends have talked me out of getting it because they said it would look to big on my Cab. I guess if I had a C4S hardtop, then a GT2 wing would look nice on it... but on my car? I dont know? I've seen GT2 type wings on Turbo Cabs and it looked ok, so why wouldnt it look ok on mine? Hmmmmm?

Here's the link to the thread where I saw the GT2 type wings on Cabs. The topic of the thread is actually about the front bumper with the LED's (someone said that they're manufactured by Wicked), but you will notice in the pictures that there are several Cabriolets with the GT2 type wing, which I think will look nice on mine, right? I'm still on the fence about getting it, but I'm sure it would look awesome on your C4S Hardtop IntoFX!

what do you guys think?

The C4S looks great with the stock wing in the down position. It looks awkward when the stock wing is extended because it's to small. Check out the Misha911 (board sponsor) GTM wing. It's a nice size wing but a little smaller than the GT2 wing.

Nice! Me likey! That may be next on my To-Do-List. For now, I'm having my bumperettes painted to match the color of my car. One step at a time.
