Softronic

Dan at Vividricing told me that the softronic would not make a big difference in the 996 since they are drive by wire? What unit did you use?

Please elaborate. I'm considering the softronic, but not sure it's worth the $900 for a N/A car. I've had software for turbo cars which made a huge difference.

I am running GIAC and it's great. Don't expect amazing results though, just some more hp/tq and better throttle response.

I did softronic and didn't notice any seat of the pants improvements. I'd save your money by not tuning the n/a's

I think the flash only works well if you have e-gas. For those of us without it, it's probably not worth it. I rather like the responsiveness of the cable throttle.

I'm thinking that $ is better spent on ROW 030 suspension.

I used "upsolute" at best a minimal throttle response improvement, not worth the money, buy tires or suspension parts money much better spent.
