^ which a lot of people have done via muffler bypass pipes. i'm surprised no-one has made a product yet that just goes from the headers straight to the tips.. like the 996tt muffler bypass pipes.

There's a thread on here all about drilling holes to make it louder. Basically you just drill with a long bit through the pipes that go into the mufflers right through the tips. Good experiences by everybody that's tried it as far as I've read.

Just swap out the mufflers...B&B exhaust sounds pretty decent and won't break the bank. Checkout their web page for video and sound...

Sounds great for a race car. I wouldn't want to drive that every day.

that sounds pretty bad-***, although a little too loud for my tastes. how's the smell running catless?

personally, i have muffler by pass pipes and an intake on mine so its pretty loud too, but not like that.

I wish I someone would make muffler by pipes pipes that had a tiny resonator in them and some resonated tips, just to make it a bit quieter but keep the same shape/size.

Actually the gas/fumes doesn't go in the cabin. Since the engine is in the rear the is no exhaust pipe travel under the car so everything goes in the back so no smell.

I really like the sound. I live 4 blocks from the police station. They always give me thumbs up.

Anything after 4000K this thing really screams like a cup car. Too bad the video recorder could never capture the real sound, it distorts the microphone because it's so high pitch loud.

Search for the thread on drilling holes through the exhaust pipes. It has great reviews from all that have tried it.

No I don't drive a Pinto or anything close to it. I just don't advertise what I drive, but I've got some pretty serious performance cars.
