Low speed fan issue

Took the P Car in for its annual maintenance and mentioned the car running hot. Quick diagnostics showed the driver side low-speed fan was out. Couldnt leave the car for longer than an oil change that day to get it fixed.

Have you had this issue and was it the fan itself or or something else?

My car only has 33k miles. Thanks for your input and any experience sharing.

Have you checked your fuses and relays? I read some time ago in another forum that it could also be the ballast resistor on that side. I believe you have to remove the front bumper to replace/check but it's an easy diy removal.

Here's a video procedure to remove your front bumper if you're so inclined. When you have it off be sure to clean your radiators.

This issue has come up before several times. Check out the resistor packs as they may be the cause as well:

Fire over questions if they come up!
