Cup holder 02 966

The front piece of my swivel cup holder broke. This is the piece that has a picture of a cup. The cup holder still work fine it just looks bad. I am looking for that piece or if someone know where I can buy that piece or the whole thing for a reasonable price that would be appreciated.

As far as I know you have to replace the whole piece. The part number is 9965521830201C.

Sunset Porsche's (Oregon), Sonnen Porsche's (California), or Suncoast Automotive's (Florida) online parts departments tend to have the best prices for parts for our cars. But--it won't be "reasonable"--the piece costs around $310 (recent price posted at Sonnen's site).

Those crafty Germans are making us Americans pay for badgering them to put cup holders in their cars!

You have to replace the whole thing. You might also try a Porsche parts reseller like Oklahoma Foreign.

If you still have the broke piece, clean with lacquer thinner and epoxy it. Worked on mine.

It sounds like I will just have to spend the money for a complete one. Thanks for all of your feedback.

Those cupholders might just be the single most overpriced part on MKII 996's!
