Air intake plenum boot
Hi there,
I made the big mistake of trying to get into the engine of my 1998 996 six speed to change the starter motor.
Everything was going well until i was putting everything back together.
As i was putting the rear (closest to the back of the car) right hand side plenum boot back on i pulled the other end of the pipe that is attached to it off (like a small breather pipe).
I have no idea where this pipe goes and am wondering can anyone shed some light on the matter. I have looked at tech manuals and am at a loss.
Many thanks for any assistance.

posting up some pics might help, it seems as though you only came on here for the answer with your one post and name. GL

Sorry and thank you
Thank you very much for the information. It is my first time to be posting details on this or any website. I hope to put some pictures on very quickly. Hopefully this will aid in any problem-solving.
However, I have already looked at the Porsche technical manuals and they do not hold the information I require. If there is any body out there that has any previous knowledge on this technical problem I'll be grateful.
