winter projects

Been looking for stuff to do to the car during these winter months . I re-painted my center console . it was already painted but was done 10 years ago and looked like crap . it had big cracks in the paint and was scratched up badly. sanded it with some 320 and painted it arctic silver , then clear coated . I had the paint left over from painting my boxsters bumperettes so the cost was zero . It was a fun project and makes the interior feel a lot nicer .

You could always work on some random stuff that is preventative maintenance. Water pumps, belts, and give your accessories a nice one over. Thats what I am doing right now.

I just keep it clean and try to drive her once a week. Keeping it ready for the other 3 quarters is enough for the Winter.
