My very clean 2001 996 C2

Here´s my very nice 996. Its a 2001 model, imported from Stuttgart 2006 to Iceland with 60K miles on it. Today its at 112K miles and runs great. Just the regular maintenance (oil, filters, etc), done both the window regulators.
I have upgraded the stereo to the mini ipad install with speaker upgrades and subwoofers. Also put 19" Modena wheels on it, 11" rear, 295/30R19 with Continental winter tires and 10" front, 225/45R19.
Love it love it love it - its great in snow but cant´t wait for the summer

Hi all.
Just fitting the GT3 side skirts these days, plan to install next Wednesday.
As these are not OEM i need a little adjustment with the fitting. I got them for about $200 and painted them myself. I also got the small spoiler for about $200 and thats being fitted aswell.
As i was doing some stuff in the garage this weekend i decided to do the calipers too. Been wondering about colours but decided to go with the yellow (ceramic colour). Was thinking about some other colours but decided the yellow as it looks great with the silver / chrome
Some pics . . .

Brakes look good with yellow! Is the "Brembo" a sticker or painted? How come you didnt go with "Porsche" ?

They sure do. Well, as the calipers are Brembo i thought it would look more unique with the Bremo script as it is obviously a "Porsche"

I got the stickers from ebay, specially made for callipers.
I cleaned, sanded, primed and then gave it one round of paint, then stickers and then gloss twice

Well, as the summer is near i did some cosmetic upgrades on my C2.
I put carbon fiber vinyl on the top and had the windows tintet.
Also had the small aero spoiler carbon wrapped.

And the most changing thing are the 19" turbo II wheels and tires

What do you all think ?
