Hi guys
I've finally completed my factory rear seat set-up in the 996. had a custom sub box in it before from previous owner.

I ran into a slight problem when latching the seat. It seems like the pin is too long. according to specs, i have ordered all the correct parts... Am i doing something wrong ?

Can someone with a 996 cab take a pic of this latch pin so i can see if i was sent the wrong parts ?
either my bolt is too long or the seat is wrong

did you order narrow body or wide body parts? I believe they are different.

 

There is a difference between the cab and coupe pins, but not for the narrow and wide pins. The correct pin for your narrow body Cab should be 99652226707

 

This I was not aware of, I definitely bought the coupe hardware :S
I cant see a pic of the pin on the ECS website.. does it come with the rubber gromet ?

I don't see a different part number for the rubber grommet, so it should be included with it.
