The dealer where I bought my car 3 years ago is NOW asking 48k for 2004 4S coupe with 40k miles. They also have a 2003 4S coupe with 50k miles for $43k. Yes, they are asking too much but you have to wonder why? I paid close to 40k on mine 3 years ago with under 27k miles on it.

Wow, 996 prices are going through the roof! Please spread the word on as many forums as possible! LOL. Maybe that will help reverse some of the rapid depreciation we've suffered as a result of all the threads on IMS failure.

As funny as it may seem, perception is reality. As soon as the car mags started writing about the Viper RT10 as a "future classic", it wasn't long after that prices started rising on those...Let's start a gold rush!!

LOL guys!
There isn't a Mrs. at the moment. I let my girlfriend drive it from Santa Fe to Taos a couple weeks ago on the highway that follows the Rio Grande through a canyon. After 10 miles or so, she was flashing the headlights to get people to move over! Her comment: "this thing is like driving a freaking go-cart!" Loves to fly fish, cooking together, old school rock n roll....I've got me a keeper.
