Help with spacers 997 wheels
I have just fitted 997 lobster claws & it bolted straight on although the front wheel sits too far in & doesn't look right,
What size spacers do you recommend? My car is lowered 35mm on h&r springs?
Am about to order 8mm fronts & 5mm rear from ecs?
Does
Wheel specs:
19x8 ET57 235 35 19 Tyres
19x11 ET67 275 30 19
Any help?

Math problem, but I think I got this
original 996 NB front wheels are 7.5 inches wide or 19.05cm or 190.5mm
mid point would be 95.25mm
original ET is +50mm so on the original tires you have 145.25mm from the hub in and 45.25mm on the outside of the hub
You tires are 8 inches which is 20.32cm or 203.2mm
Midpoint is 101.6mm
You offset is 57mm
So as it currently sits you have 158.6mm from the hub in and 44.6mm from the hub out
So as it sits now you are only 1mm further in than stock.
I think I got the math correct
So if you want them further out I would use the smaller spacer possible

Whoops did not read the full question. You asked about front and rear and gave tire sizes also.
The front wheel is also 13mm further in from the hub than stock so you could push it out further so there is no rubbing on the inside.
Then you factor in the tires - up front stock is 225 and you are running 235's so you have an extra cm of tire to deal with also.
What you need to do before ordering spacers is crank the front wheels both directions and look to see where its going to rub first on the inside or on the outside and this should give you a better idea of what spacers to run.
I guess I could have said that without all of the math.

I did the same - 997 C2S lobster claws on my 996 widebody. Stock offset for 996 wide body is 45/50 front/rear. The 997 wheels were 51/57. I went with 7MM spacers in front and 14mm rear, both with extended bolts and happy with the setup. H&R spacers ran about $350 total.

There isn't much room in the rear, but a huge gap in the front
I think it would be better the other way around
