Alignment in Tampa area?

Alignment in Tampa area?
Where's the best place to have an alignment done in the Tampa/Brandon/Lakeland area? Do you take yours to Reeves, or is there someone else that knows the ins and outs? Is there anything I should know, anything Porsche or 996 specific? Thanks!

I use Reeves second choice would be Vortex. I will say this though, a co-worker has a BMW and he takes his to Tires Plus on Brandon Blvd and they did a good job, used torque wrenches and everything. Before I took my Porsche there though I would talk to them to ensure they know how to do it.
FWIW, reeves usually runs a special for around $100. You should get their magazine because specials are good, oil change $109, brake fluid flush $99, and radiator flush $109

Thanks! How do you sign up for their magazine? I stopped by a few weeks ago and the salesman gave me a 911 booklet with all the specs in it, but did not mention a magazine.

It's not really Reeves' magazine, it's the monthly magazine that the Sun-Coast region of the PCA puts out, Reeves usually has their specials in there. Also, call Reeves and ask them to put you on their monthly e-mail listing. Also, you can call the service dept, I deal with Chuck Henry and ask what specials are you running this month. By being a PCA member you also get a discount on service.
I've found out with the specials they run maintain the beast is reasonable, I do the brake fluid, and radiator fluid every year, and every 3 month do the oil.

^^ just notice, a lot of "also's" used, sorry

I actually called Reeves yesterday - I know what Stingray Chevy charges me for alignments, but thought I'd ask the price just so I wasn't shocked. They put me on hold and never came back - I guess it's "if you have to ask you can't afford it" . I have a burning rubber smell at the rear of my car when I park, even if I haven't been burning rubber - thought an alignment would be a good place to start.

Check your belts and oil, how is your clutch? It could be slipping. To test try this:
Drive the car and match the RPM's to speed:
2nd gear
3krpm = 32
4krpm = 42
6krpm = 63
3rd gear
3krpm = 45
4krpm = 60
6krpm = 89
7krpm = 103
If you are within 3 mph of these you clutch should be fine.
