New to the Porsche scene.
Hi, I recently purchased a 2004 Jahre 911 40th AE #678.I love this car, A huge difference from my 2008 Mini Cooper S. I don’t know muchabout the Porsche so I’m hoping to learn some things about it while I’m on here. Any suggestions or concerns I shouldbe aware of im all ears.

Congrats. You picked a great model.
Relearn on how to drive with the different drivetrain layout. PCA DE is great for this.
Look down at your speedo more often.
Remember you can hit 60 in 2nd.

Thank you I just joined the PCA also and I will be looking at those DE, I believe VIR has PCA DE events. And yes I have to constantly look at the speedometer.....

Thank you for the complements. I love the wheels but they are a pain to keep clean lol The brake dust gets all over them, anyone have an idea on what to use to keep them clean besides soap and water lol

Nice, I see you got the buckwheat mod on there.
As for wheels, a good wheel cleaner like Sonax is great for Euro-dust.
Sonax is a bit too rich for me as much as I use it so I just buy the Gallon of Meg's Wheel Brightener. Works very good, especially on Euro cars with heavy brake dust.
Other alternative would be to buy ceramic pads like Akebono Euro Ceramic or the Hawks. I heard some good things about Stoptech's own lineup but have yet to try it.

I will look into Sonax and Meg's Wheel Brightner and once is time to replace the pads I will be looking into the ceramic ones.
