Agreed. Unless you are trying to make a Porsche donk. http://jalopnik.com/5974931/your-gui...-culture-donks

Cars looking great, so much sharper and clean cut than the stock. Looks newer too. Can i ask, which LED kit did you use for the interior lights (doors & maps etc) im troubled if i should buy 6000k 7000k or 8000k LED lights, the higher the number of Kelvins the brighter the light but the less lumen you get apparently????

Also, the seats shells look brand new, fantastic job. How much did they cost you to restore and how long were they with the repair guy for?

Overall its a great job, and im loving the wheels if they fit.

Glad you like it .

I just bought this kit for the interior light: http://www.ebay.com/itm/181605281893

And this kit for the gauge: http://www.ebay.com/itm/271710516908

And as for the seats, they charged me about 400 USD for painting and fixing the leather on my steeringwheel and front seats. New leather on the lit lose to your elbow while driving (don't know the name of it) + painted fresh matt black with flakes on the back of the seats to cover scratches etc from when previous owners has thrown bags etc.
They look very blue on the pictures for some reason and they might be a little bluer, but the rest of the car, even the interior apart from the front seats are very dirty, and will look pretty good together once the car has been waxed etc and interior cleaned.
It's in swedish, but plenty of pictures to check out: http://vinylmakeup.se/s%C3%A4ten

I can see the commercial... (Rob Lowe walks in...) This is me...This is Donk me... Don't be like Donk me...
FWIW, I don't think the 19's are quite "donk", I just think 18's are fine, especially if the car is lowered a bit

I personally like the techno's better. 19's do give it a modern look but the 997 turbo style is not only heavy but whispers "poser" to other enthusiasts and don't really care for the design too much. I have nothing against the sizing though and own both size of wheels myself.

It's your car so do whatever makes you happy though.

Btw, I like what you did to your Boxster. My $.02

Made the "Fister Mod" on my car today. Very pleased with the result, it sounds great!
Used a 1.5" pipe and a pre-bent corner for it and welded it together.

The car has been cleaned properly today and away for "refurb". The shop polished, waxed it etc.
So it's finally clean and good looking!
The plastic window was also fixed, pretty much all of the dcratches are gone. I gave him my novus bottles and he did what he could do with them. Really pleased with the result.

Before and after pictures of the window:

With kind regards, Jonathan.

Spent some time with the car yesterday. Mounted new rings around the cluster/gauge.
Also managed to add some clean looking stickers to the sides. Pretty pleased with the result. I like it pretty clean, and thought I'd try, and in my opinion, it wasn't too much. + new led in the roof.
And still waiting for the tyres for my 997" turbo rims.
Does anyone know if i need anything to mount the 997 turbo wheels? I've heard diffrent versions and not really sure what to trust.

Hi

if those are the 997 turbo 1 wheels with the original 997 Turbo offset you will need some spacers at the front cause the wheels goes to much inside an that doesnt look very good !! In the back they should fit fine !!
i uses to run the original 997 Turbo 1 wheels with 235/35 front an 295/30 back !!
