Durametric v6 enthusiast wont talk to abs and air con modules
Hey there
I have a 98 C2 and I bought the Durametric Enthusiasts kit but cannot get it to connect to the a/c or abs systems. Having looked at the schematics I can see that the alarm and engine share the same bus and this connects fine with a green LED on the tool. However when I attempt to connect to the others the tool alternates between red and green And won't connect. I know the brakes and the a/c share the same bus. Durametric suggested a short but have checked continuity to ground and it is fine. No short and is showing 2.5v which is healthy for CAN systems I am familiar with.
Any ideas or similar experience.
Regards
Steve

I have heard a lot of things go thru the cluster and sometimes the cluster needs to be reset. On my 2005 987s tip it wouldn't connect to the tip. Version 5 connected fine. Can also try to connect straight to the module instead of picking the car.

I have tried versions 5 and 6 now. Attempted connecting to the a/c with the fuse pulled on the abs and visa versa just in case either one was causing the issue. How did you reset the dash?
