Daytime running lights
Has anyone fitted these to there 996 and would you post some pics.
I'm thinking of installing some DRLs and not sure of my options. I have a 996.2 so plenty of space or maybe look for after market headlamps with DRLs fitted.
Thoughts?

Following a thread I found here, I had HIDs installed in my fogs and then wired for switched power . . . I never use the fogs and while I like the LED look, IMO it isn't time specific-correct. The HIDs give me the nice white light (as opposed to dipped, halogens), so I like that and it is in the stock location . . . I see this as a positive as well.
If needed, I can try and dig up the thread. I like the mod a lot and it makes me more visible, especially in parking lots, so it's worth it! KH

I had wanted LED DRLs for years. Finally found the best OEM-like solution for my TA bumper. 997TT replica LED DRL - lightly smoked, from Xtreme Motorcars on Ebay with a custom mounting bracket from Tony at Precision911, from where I originally got the TA bumper. The LED DRLs are visually stunning day and night!!
