Thanks for the advice, guys.

My friend ended up just giving me money to pay it off because he had to catch a flight today. Not worth the hassle if indeed it ever pops up again. Fine was $140.

And wross, doing 50 on a street in manhattan IS opening her up. We're not as lucky as you west coasters. I'd be lucky to even hit 3rd gear.

Reading this post reminds me of my $1000. speeding ticket in Tift county Georgia last spring in a 04 M3 drop SMG. I was driving back from FL to MI for a friend- 98 in a 55. I made a copy. I should try to post it up. He got me with laser (had V1) from an overpass about 30-45min. north of the FL border. My attorney's advice to to just pay it.
