Got a ticket for NO front plate today.

thats not even bad, how about getting an illegal parking ticket for not even being there... , i got one... the city of arcadia sent me a ticket for parking my A4 at 2am on a saturday night. the funny thing about it was that arcadia, ca , aracdioa, ca is about 20-30 miles away from my home. i was home during the night in question, with my wife sleeping.. and they put wrong info stating that my car was a toyota celica... i mailed the city a letter regarding the wrong ticket, and to subject it to a review, they then sent me a letter back that the ticket was correct and that i should pay the fine.. yeeash.. to have piece of mine i jsut paid the fine.. i was thinking of fightting it but it was not worth my time, also if u have ever been to arcadia municipal court... u wouldnt believe how long the lines are there to either pay for your ticket or to talk to a judge... the drive there and teh waiting in line was not worth the 25.00 i needed to pay

I agree, most people do not like front license plates, in fact I dislike the look of them so much I still have not installed my rear plate and I have an 01'. Just been lucky, but have been prepared to receive a "fix it ticket" sooner or later. Actually, I finally thought of a creative personalized plated that I ordered today, but I'll only have it in the rear. I think one of the reasons we are suppose to have front plates is that they are necessary in order to identify the vehicle at intersections that use cameras for citations. If I had the money that is made from no front plate tickets for just one day I could probably buy a TT!

No front plate here, however in So Cal front plates are enforced more so now because there are more and more cameras at intersections for red light runners.
