DK,
I have been in the first 20g set up that Bobby did a few years ago.... full blown wiht ICS, injectors, etc.....
By no means do yo have to shift at 8K. on the contrary the trick is to short shift at 6500 rpms.
I drove the car and even ran against it...
For anyone looking for 650 rwhp at 1.5 bars I think this is a cheap alternative to Garrett turbos.... however, Garretts are the way to go....
best,
mark

Thumbs up

Tommy,

I do not think the 20g's will hit 200mph at Texas.
I think I could/would/maybe will run a solid 195 MPH though (no T-Shirt ).

I may be at the TX mile with ATOMIC Z, for moral support.
If he he gets new 5th and 6th gear...watch out!
We have not determined if we will haul my car down there also.

I would love to go as the South Texas Crew is too damn funny.
(and the most knowledgable around)

MK

Damn...here is another tip Proto 997tt ( NON-SPORT CHRONO CAR ) with same mods

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FU7Eb5S75qo

That car ran 209.3mph on summer , pump gas , 2 passengers and approx 1 bar.

We beat LS1 built 427ci Trans Am w/200-250 shot
standstill race....Ny friend car ran 0-62mph in 3.2 sec
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DfSOnZdYzSI

We beat LS1 built 418ci Camaro w/125-150 shot
rolling 30mph
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gsG1D6DHJt0

Also beat 07 Procharger Ford Mustang ( He claimed it is 560-570rwhp )
Rolling 40mph
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nFnYacGPwo4

Beat slightly modded and re-gear Honda CBR600
Rolling 25mph

Sorry for bad quality vids

I'm pretty sure 18g's or 20g's 996tt cars would eat our car alive

We lost to TTI turbo forget internals 680rwhp LS1 Trans Am ( he got the jump )..Even if he didn't jump he still would beat us...I guess that's not bad for our non sport chrono 540-550awhp car

If your engine is already reinforced why not just go straight to Garrett Ball Bearing like Marksi mentioned.

Shotcaller (AKA Freak997TT / MMAD28),

When I banned your MMAD28 account, I politely informed you that you're only allowed to have one username at a time on this forum. I left your FREAK997TT account active so that you could still post.

It seems that you ignored me and went ahead and created this account (Shotcaller), which I just banned.

Let me be clear. I'm only giving you one more chance to remain on this forum. Your FREAK997TT account is still active and is the only account you are allowed to use. If you create another account, I'm going to ban all of your accounts so that you can't post at all.

I think the Proto set up is one of the best and they seemed to be just getting better. Who ever runs this set up will be very happy. Paulie has a very similar set up and I think he will only give praises.
Have a great day
