On the launch control, I haven't driven it yet, but I've got a buddy that just got back from the ride and drive in Cali. and said it was really cool. I've also got some tech. info/training on the new PDK and it looks like a really cool trans. Can't wait to drive it.
We finally have video of our soon to be released exhaust system for the 911tt. The car in this vid is running our headers, high flow cats and mufflers with our quad tips.
Thanks for sharing. This thread has now given me the needed push to make a video clip of my own Cargraphic. I think I could make my sound more "exciting" (with all due respect! ).
For anyone shopping for exhausts, allthough this is a great great thread, in my (very) humble opinion, there is no replacement for a live audition. I think it's a must to listen with your own ears and not rely solely on internet video and sound clips. Reason? There is no standard in placement of microphone, type of microphone, recording level, etc., and this causes huge, and inaccurate, variation from one recording to another. A couple of the clips here for example show the exhaust systems to be much more quiet than in real life, in comparison to my own live auditions.
Lastly, and perhaps most importantly, a majority (if not all) of consumers' video camcorders default to automatic recording level, meaning as the exhaust sound gets louder, the recording level is automatically decreased (compressed) such that the dynamic range is lost. In some higher-end Sony camcorders, the recording level could be switched to "manual," and this IMHO should be the mode.
FWIW, I just posted my "final" impression of the Cargraphic here, after 2 months: http://www.rennteam.com/showflat.php...&page=0#416268. If you're looking for a system that's fairly quiet and neighborhood-friendly at low rpm and absolutely, positively screams at full throttle, I could recommend the Cargraphic Loud without reservation.

The Ultimate Sports Exhaust System for the Porsche 997 Turbo is found in QuickSilver’s ‘Titan’ Collection’.
The QuickSilver ‘Titan’ exhaust is almost a third of the weight of the standard system – reduced by 18 kilos or 38.7 lbs.
This is a remarkable weight saving particularly as the catalyst cores & shells (weighing 3.5 kilos) comprise such a large proportion of the total weight.
Importantly this weight comes off the very rear of the car and so has a profound benefit to the balance and all aspects of performance.
This system is as close to an F1 system that exists. Utilising type 625 Inconel in .7mm and .9mm thickness for tube, silencer casing, muffler internals and thicker Inconel for the balance ’flex’, bands and flanges. The heat-shields are fabricated from .5mm Titanium.
Though Inconel does not carry any inherent weight advantage over stainless steel it’s superior strength allows less (thinner) material to be used.
Plus, Inconel’s superior durability to extreme heat make it a much better material for Turbocharged and Motorsports applications – Which is why Inconel (and not Titanium) is used for F1, Indycars, Le Mans, NASCAR and just about all the top formulae.
