From an HRE P40 owner (first in the world LOL) : These Morr wheels look absolutely FANTASTIC -- you could never go wrong with a 7 fork mesh design. Cheaper and even lighter than HRE P40 it seems. I think they are very worthy competitors and I love looking at them!
Agreed with GT3Ranger: they look IDENTICAL to Neez QD7. I know because before HRE P40 was released, I used to sit and stare at the Neez. QD7 is just so gorgeous, just the price is not . But I think Neez is made in Japan, not the US like these?
Just one note: The spokes in the Neez, oops sorry -- grin , Morr are more linear. The ones in HRE P40 have more of a curve to it and probably longer in length because of the "fake" thin rim. Regardless, the price difference is significantly in favor of the Morr; competition is good.

Can you please give a little more detail on the different finishes? I want a competition gray type finish, but clearcoated, not matte or satin. Do you have some actual closeup pics of the various gray and black finishes? Thanks.
I posted this on the AMT thread, thought I would repeat here for potential customers of this very nice looking wheel:
Just 4 things to point out, and maybe Andrew/Redline Motorworks could answer for potential customers:
1. What are the exact sizes? 19 x 8.5 and 19 x 11 like stock?
2. Is center cap compatible with the Porsche cap?
3. Is this TPMS compatible?
4. Are spacers needed for the Turbo?
Again, congrats. All of sudden these excellent wheels appear.

Can,
Here are the answers to your questions.
1. Sizes are determined by the customers depending on their car. 19x8.5 and 19x11 would be perfect for wide body fitment (turbo).
2. The OEM Porsche center cap will work
3. These wheels are TPMS compatible
4. No spacers will be required. The wheels will be engineered and designed to fit without the use of spacers (why spend this kind of money to have to use spacers )
I would like to find 5 participants for one particular platform (wide body for example). If there is enough interest for narrow body, we could do that as well (19x8.5 and 19x10 for example).
One final point: if we have the required 5 participants for one fitment (WB) and a few more (2-4) for another fitment (NB), I may be able to work something out where we can get all wheels produced (8.5, 10 and 11).
I hope this makes sense and answers your questions.
rscholl: I will post some comparison photos of the available finishes tomorrow.

So, what you are saying is stock offsets, right?

Great looking wheel Andrew. I like the color combo. The wheel looks similar to the NEEZ wheels.

My name is Carlos Morr and I own MORR Wheels. After this thread has been opened we have received too many inquiries to ignore it. I would like to welcome any questions you might have regarding our company or products. I would be more than happy to answer them.
If some of you do not know of our company, we were founded on 2005 as a one piece forged wheel manufacturer established in Ft Lauderdale, FL, Miramar to be precise. We have been manufacturing wheels in 19" for the BMW 3-series for over 3 years now and we have had great success doing so. We manufacture a product strictly with performance in mind and it has been the reason for our great success. Well, that and our signature concavity. Of course we would have no problems expanding our product line to include p-cars. Our product line right now includes the VS7 which was based on the Coupe Sport Lightweight and our VS8 which is basically a refined version of our VS7 with one less spoke.
As far as this thread goes, we would like to know the overall interest in this wheel and not necessarily the interest in the Group Buy itself. If you are interested in our products feel free to share your opinion. We have created our BMW wheels based exactly on what the customers demanded and we would like to do the same for our Porsche products.
I would like to thank Andy from Redline for his assistance and please direct all inquiries regarding pricing and sales directly to him.
