The thread referred to in post #2054 of this thread accuses Nissan of keeping a tight rap on the real number of busted trannys. Wonder if there is any truth to it. It's a thread in NAGTROC, and no one questions the claim.
How would that even be possible?
If 30+ people out of first 1000 cars really have busted trannies, denies warranty claims and $20K repair bills from Nissan, wouldn't they (and the statistically predicted 8-10 more each month) be shouting from the rooftops that Nissan ripped them off? All I hear is silence (apart from haters).

you must have ADD, since you choose to answer to what you wish to answer to. You must be a Nissan employee

I come back to this after a few days, and all i see are the same members bagging the GTR. Like i said earlier, haters will always be haters. Nothing will change that. Even if the GTR is the fastest, cheapest, prettiest, most fuel efficient, most reliable and safest car on the planet - there will always be haters. Haters don't follow logic. Amen.

Well, news flash, Nissan has finally improved the GTR's ability to consistently run 7:29's at the ring. The new software comes with every GTR allowing the GTR owner to run as fast as the ringer GTR. Check it out, this new system comes integrated into every GTR console....

He's playing word games, no Nissan delevered means not sold in UK but there have been imported GT-R's there for some time. And Nissan agreed to fix some of the broken ones under warranty to keep the matter hush hush until US release. But simply put even the grey market GT-R's have been breaking too. Fail trannies.
You have no idea what you're talking about.
Why would Nissan get involved in a warranty claim on a grey import?
I do know what I'm talking about. Go ask your buddies at Nagtroc if Nissan didnt agree to fix at least one grey market import just to keep the matter hushed until US release. And why the recall in all of Japan was kept so quiet. It had to cost them a fortune. They have really blow the doors wide open in making a car that loses money.

ChrisN - I did not know that NAGTROC spoke for the masses when it comes to problems? Can you tell me how many members on that board actually own a GTR R35? Then gauge for me how many had problems with tranny, oil temps, limp modes.
You will see that you are using a very small sampling of data.
What ever happened to the PDK Porsche Guy over at gearheads with the reported lemon? Hmmm he was never heard from again. Did the problem really exist?
So how do you know for certain that these cars were launced 50 times +?
VDC off = a pleasure drive for some people through the mountains. Are they saying you can't?
Then there are people over at NAGTROC saying they can count the number of LC's.
So there is not a definative YES OR NO they can or cannot count LC's?
The guy who first claimed problems over at NAGTROC said that Nissan could not count the LC's but denied him warranty on the tranny due VDC being off and his tranny blew when it was off.
Then people over a NAGTROC jumped all over him and EXPERTS said their friends at NISSAN such as yours told him they can count the number of LC's. So either the EXPERTS at not EXPERTS, NISSAN folks are NOT EXPERTS or NISSAN is LYING. Which one is it?
GTR - from Nissan's "Halo" car to "Headache" in 3 months. I gather that the V-Spec is not coming to the US anymore, and would guess that Nissan won't want to bring the R36 here either

Yep GTR=Total Failure. What were they thinking?? Don't ever come back. C'mon. It's great to finally have all these different types of sports cars in the US. Just fire the marketing dept. and Borg Warner
