Get GT5 then call me, and we can resume battle.

Then we'll see who's the loser.

Plus I though for sure you were trickortreating.
I saw Peerless last Friday.

I have heard as many as 2400. At least that was the projected goal. All, or at least most, of those on Autotader are obviously opportunists. I called one of them (the lowest priced one at $79k; I think), it had not sold. The market is waning on these cars, imo.

Corvette ZR1 = 7:26.4
Nissan GTR = 7:29
Porsche GT2 = 7:31

around the Nurburgring which is a high speed track.

Yet the GTR was slaughtered in this test.........

Another video...

ZR-1 stopping distance, skidpad G...unbelieveable numbers.
Same comments about GTRs ease of driveability and ZR-1's unholy potential with skill behind the wheel.

Sexy as hellness also goes to ZR-1...

That is one fast tt > GT-R above and one wickedly fast ZR1 in this post; love it.

On a side note: 997tt drivetrain/Z06/ZR1, or even my neighbors' kid's go-kart > GT-R drivetrain.

I the "market" is waning in general-- not just for the GT-R. That said, I'm not aware of any GT-Rs on dealer lots being offered at <$10K over. Perhaps $5K over would get the car-- don't know.

My local dealer is holding firm at $15K over, but who knows if he'll get it (car has only been on lot for one week).

Moral of story: market hasn't fallen out yet, but of course days of big premiums are numbers. But-for the market crash, I'm sure it would be "party on" for a couple more quarters.

What an honor to even be compared to such an over-the-top car. Perhaps the V-Spec will be competitve wth lap times, but I doubt (given economy, state of auto indistry and enery/environmental concerns) the ZR1 will be topped from a shear brutality perspective for 25 years.

For some reason, I still have an anti-Vette bias from a looks/stigma perspective. I acknowledge that the GT-R is far uglier from an objective perspective.
