Mods round 3 ECU ,IPD plenium, enlarged Y-pipe &throttle body

So i bite the bullet and took my car into BBI Motorsport in HB for some more mods previously i have done Blistien's damptronics HRE p40,Milltek exhaust, and Agency cold air intake .First of all i will say i was very impressed with the BBI guys Joey & Betim they are more of a design & build shop than just a bolt on everyone else's product kinda shop.I took there advice on the things i did & felt very comfortable leaving my car in there hands.I had the ECU flashed with Protomotive they also did some stuff on my 993tt which i was happy with ,i read all the posts on other brands & like i said i just felt comfortable with BBI's recommendations also we did the IPD pleneum & ceramic coated enlarged y-pipe with an enlarged throttle body.Picked car up last fri and put few miles on it over the weekend & all i can say is WOW,major gains & lots of fun nothing to compare it to really but i can here the turbo's spooling louder than before , much more so than the slit second plug in tuner i sampled last week ,adding some fabspeed headers next week also. Ended up having to take off the Agency cold air intake and replaced it with oem airbox with some BMC drop in filters as it wouldn't fit with the enlarged y-pipe.
So the Agency cold air intake is for sale barely used for 500 miles i can't post on the the for sale page as you need 100 posts to post so if any ones interested pm me $1000.00 i also had it clear coated for a better finish.

sounds like great mods from the guys at BBI, I've heard nothing but good things about them.

Congrats. Joey and Betim are absolutely FIRST CLASS!. Wait til they get their hands on your suspension. It is night and day after they work on it.

Can you post some pics of the IPD Y-pipe? GotBoost promised some pics before but never posted...

How bigger is the Y-pipe and TB compared to stock? Did they adjusted the software for the bigger TB?

Why is common to swap the OEM filter for BMC drop in filters in 997TT. Our cars already have from stock a foam filter which flows pretty well when compared to other OEM filters.

stock filter is not foam, only small piece of foam covering paper.

If you don't mind me asking, how is your stock clutch holding up? I've heard that some folks have reported slippage from just the ECU upgrades.

Even so, why people change it for BMC? Does it really improve something, or is just because is too cheap mod to let it pass...

Protomotive ECU rocks, is the only tuner who does the programming only once for all stages.

Tiago: BMC air filters are cheap, washable and let a lot more air to flow threw the engine, especially when modded it needs more air

I would also like to see some pics of the IPD-Y pipe

Stock filter and airbox is good for 700hp easy. Once you swap the turbo's you might net some gains from a drop in filter / intake kit.
