my younger brother actually is seriously contemplating purchasing this 997tt so i will pass this thread onto him. can you tell me more about the history report or forward that to me? thanks again and im with you guys, the highest bidder seems really fishy...
It's an 07, not an 09. Looking at the carfax, my guess would be early termination of the lease and the car was bought at auction by the current owner, who is probably a dealer in Michigan. I'd love to jump on this as well, but something just bothers me about it...
aRE THERE SUCH THINGS AS "SALVAGE TITLES" back there? We see these types of vehicles in California that have been wrecked and repaired to be sold , but then again? I certainly wouldn't trust Car Fax for real data however. Just my $.02
We've read about rare cars with oil leaks or blown engines in less than 200 miles . It happens . Most of thse cars have been very reliable but the ones which aren't could easily end up two years later on an indy lot with 500 miles .
Looks like ebay user u***t( 59) and a***_( 365) maybe shill bidding and raising the price on this "great deal"... I actually made an offer at $89K before this thread was created and the seller was set on $90K, that was until the auction ended I got an email if I was still interested....

i offered $89K a few days before the auction ended the seller rejected it, but emailed a few days ago stating he would accept $89K if I was still interested. i am no longer interested with the history of mulitple owners/state registration and basically other personal issues with the seller

Got it, thanks for the quick reply back, and hope you find your car soon.
