Consider black mats....Carrera Red interior is pretty bold. Black mats would tone it down. But you may like it that way. Otherwise, not bad (I'm not a PDK driver, so I can't comment on that part of the build).

And for what it's worth, a high end shop can paint the lips and rockers for a fraction of the option price (I really don't understand Porsche on those). If you did that, do the mirror mounts at the same time, save a bundle for mods later (if this engine can be modded).

Or you think Terracotta might go better with white? Isn't Terracotta more lilke orangish? Also, is PTV a must have option? Porsche Torque Vectoring. I live in hawaii so i know that i won't be tracking my tt. What benefit does PTV will provide in terms of driveability?

Red is a higher quality leather and you should love it.

Better than black mats is, deviating carpets in black. Then black mats with red border.

Not personally sure on the torque vectoring. While the marketing sounds great, I am not sure if it would make the handling a little weird. May be a great way for a poor driver to get though the bends quicker?

May want to look a little more on leather options and delete the outside paint options and have this done after purchase. I personalty would add upper center and visors done in leather. Steering column leather also.

May want to also take a look at PDK leather cover. This is prominent piece and should show very well.

Yes to Porsche vectoring! AFAIK, this system affects torque to individual wheel and therefore provides some control over yaw and understeer/oversteer characteristic. No formal review yet but IMHO (speculating! ) this is potentially a huge change to 911 handling and would help to stabilize the rear end.

Even more than PDK, torque vectoring & dynamic engine mount are the changes that I as 997.1 Turbo owner are "afraid" of most; they could make my car feel obsolete.

So you got PDK, PTV, Sport Chrono Plus, Adaptive Seat right? How about PCCB and that cool center lock wheel?

Congrats.

I prefer the red brakes and the look of non center lock wheel. IMHO the center lock wheels looks very cheap. Should i go with terracota or natural carrera red?

I won't be much help with this much because I am 100% a Cocoa leather fan for a white car! Just personal preference here and you get what you like best.

Anyway here are my 2 cents: Terracota is too orangy and red is, well, too red for me, but between the 2, I would get Terra. A while ago there is a Turbo with mixed Black/Terra interior and it is an absolutely stunning combination. You really should search for pictures of that car, either here or www.rennteam.com.

Have you seen Cocoa with White ext?

Definitely brake up all the red with either deviating black carpets and/or carbon fiber trim.
I do agree with you about the center locks, I too think they look cheap(in pics anyway).
One more thing, the spoiler lip WILL GET SCRAPED, so definitely think twice about that one.
Otherwise looks like it will be a real stunner......good luck.

I agree with the others... deviated black carpet looks better with both red and terracotta leather. The terracotta carpet is pretty unappealing in my opinion. This is a nice example:

I also agree with Eric regarding painting the lowers and mirror attachments after you get he car. You can order new lowers, paint them before your car arrives, and still save money.

XM Radio is the one options I wish I did not order. I do not like the little wart above the rear window, XM programming sucks, and I mostly just use my iPod.

I know the speed limit on Maui is 45mph. Which island do you live on?

You're going to love the car but don't know if you will ever get to know it's potential. Enjoy in good health.

I'm on big island. Yeah speeding is very limited. I don't even know whether I'll ever get a chance to fully open her up. But just looking at her will make me happy .

Does anyone have a pic of carrera white with carrera red interior? thanks

I have seen both and have Terracotta . The red really is bright . you can do two tone (black dash) but I not on a white exterior .

The Terra is more understated . I also thiught the black mats would work well until i got them . Once in the car I really liked the Terra mats more . I know they are harder to maintain but are really nice.

Here's mine --

A buddy of mine has the red and the inside is amazing but his exterior is black --this would not work on a white car (in my opinion) but looks great on his.

This interior looks perfect! Ist a special order? Usually the black/terracotta two tone interior comes with terra cotta carpet and matts.
