catchmyshadow will become famous soon enough
The R8 V10 is fast but it is much slower than the TT-MKII. The E-tronic/E-gear is sh*t compared to a dual clutch tranny like the PDK and the V10 is heavy, too heavy compared to the flat six Turbo. i think the R8 could be a potential Turbo beater if they reduce its weight and put a biturbo V8 and dual clutch in it (for the next generation).
But on the other hand the R8 V10 sounds much much much better and it looks super sexy.

The R8 V10 uses the Lamborghini engine. Too bad they canceled the TDI diesel version.

Gotta say Id take the R10 over the Turbo. But it would be a different story were it the R10 vs the GT2. I love me some GT2....

Cool video

I'm 90% sure that's a 997.1 Turbo in the comparison. They mention it having a 3.6L engine and the interior footage clearly shows a triptronic transmission.

I am not a fan of the R8 looks. Not pretty at all IMHO.

Road & Track did a 0-60 time in 3.4s with a 6M; trip is should be quicker
