You should call or email Alex at Fabspeed Motorsports. Evolution Motorsports and Fabspeed Motorsports have a TON of experience designing Twin Turbo exhaust systems and EVO was the GIAC expert and switch to EVO-SIT Itelligent tuning as it was better and had more custom features. get your Twin Turbo an EVO-SIT tune!

Fabspeed Motorsports was the 1st company to design and perfect modular exhaust systems for all Porsche Twin Turbo cars- from 993 TT 996TT to 997 Twin Turbos we have done in all in a MODULAR system that can have over 8 sound levels.

Logically on a 6 speed Coupe everyone likes our Version 3 which has the Cargraphic Miltek sound but slightly quieter and ours makes more power and flows better. Jeremy is with the EVO MS team at the Texas Mile right now and about 15+ 996TT and 997TT cars are down there at the Texas Mile and have Fabspeed Motorsports systems on their cars! Fabspeed and EVO have done more Twin Turbo Porsche cars than any other tuner. I still sell to select European Tuners.

Fabspeed Motorsports imports HJS German trimetallic sports racing catalytic converters OBD 2 Euro level 4 quality and uses heavy guage stamped MAXFLO mufflers and everything is modular and uses adjustable F1 Indy car V band clamps for easy installtion and adjustable sound and power levels. I should have PATENTED IT as all other companies have tried to copy my systems! Our systems dont break and split and crack like other systems. No square shaped funny boxy mufflers.

Check out the Videos on my website and PM me or Alex or jeremy for more data.

Also if people tell you you can FLASH your 997TT back to bone stock for untraceable warranty work DO NOT BELIEVE IT.... dont believe it as it is 100% BS.

HOLBERTS Porsche and Porsche North America warranty.......... turned down a tuner that blew up his $35,000 997TT engine and tried to sneak it in under warranty. Denied warranty claim and he blamed it on weak rod bolts and spinning backwards.

Check out our detailed explanation Video on the Fabspeed Motorsports USA website for all the data.

Our philosophy with exaust design is simple. It's loud when it needs to be, and quiet when it has to be.

We know that many of our clients may have family or clients in the car, plus want to hear the radio, or speak on a cell or hands free. So with that in mind, we make sure that tone and volume are not overpowering.

However, when you go wide open throttle, we want the experience to be one where you feel as though you just stepped foot in a factory prepped racecar.

I can vouch for that.

I believe your statement above needs clarification.

A switch/flash loader allowing stock parameters to be uploaded to the DME will be recorded as a re-flash and detected if a tech is looking for it.

A wipe/reprogram using PIWIS will not.

I do not think Mike & AWE was advocating "lying" to a dealership be reflashing to stock. No one should advocate hiding modifications to a dealership. It is a bad way to establish a relationship to a owner's only lifeline to warranty service.

His product simply allows you to revert to stock programming or any other reprogramming using a simple OBD2 interface. I believe your statement to be incorrect as a DME can be wiped and reprogrammed to out of the box stock with no detection using PIWIS.

+1

The two modifications are complimentary. You could theorectically be causing undue wear on your turbos by doing a flash alone, as it will increase overall EGTs with a restrictive 600cell cat/stock exhaust.

On another note. Have you dyno'ed your car? Or are you relying on a manufacturer's claim that a air intake filter will give you 20hp at the crank?

Good question

I have a question.

Is the dealership that services the car friendly to modified cars, or if you change something they are bound to give you trouble?
This is important. My usual dealer would hardly touch my car b/c I changed the exhaust while the one I use in the US is very mod friendly (including all warranty work). If you read your warranty - you'll get the idea why personal connections with your dealer is key.
