TPC Racing 775+Blitzkrieg / Stage 3+ Suspension Build.
First off... our newest website kicked off last week www.tpcracing.com
An upcoming issue of Excellence is going to have a blurb on our 775 kit so I figured we should document what is necessary for us to make a 997TT a low 10 second car.
To start us off here is our newest candidate... A fresh '09 in Nordic Gold!(sorry about my crummy pictures, nice camera is dead from our GTG yesterday)
We will be using our newest intercoolers which use a 127mm core. So we are going to call this the 775+Blitzkrieg as it makes more than our original setup.
This car will also be using our newest routine switcher that allows switching for different octane ratings of pump fuel and race fuel through the OBD port.
This car will also be getting our Stage 3+ Suspension which includes our hot-rodded PSS10 Damptronic dampers with revised PASM tuning and our newest V2R Race Series Sway-bars. I will do a feature on that as soon as our machining is done.

Sorry for the OT, but can you explain how you achieve 600hp in a stock car (with OE exhuast) with just a ecu sw? Is it reliable? And why most of the others top-tuners claim "only" 530hp with ecu?

Mods: Windows tinted all around, H&R Springs, H&R sway bars, 16mm rear spacers, stock muffler with 100cpsi race cats (swapped the stock 600cpsi cats), IPD Plenum, BMC drop in filter.
It is all about very thorough tuning on the dyno. Or generic upgrade puts down ~475whp(depending on car)... But on the dyno at stock boost levels we achieve 500-510whp. With modified stock exhaust 510-520.

I think that there is some misunderstood. Revo tecknik claim 20-50hp increase just with ecu. How can you increase 120hp with the same programs in a stock car, and even keeping stock boost levels...
I will send you the ecu of my car if you really can put that power with just a ecu flash.

The ~100hp gain is from Modifying the stock exhaust + a Dyno tune. Not a flash tune. I am not at teh office today but Josh, another guy that works at TPC will be posting up another one we did recently. IIRC it went from ~410whp to 498whp from a Dyno Tune. Big difference between a generic flash(we have actually seen some generic flashes lose power) and a dyno tune of a specific car.
Note that i was quoting Manual cars... your tip woudl read lower although we have done great tuning on them

Here is a manual trans dyno before and after for a client of ours that also has a cayman turbo and is about to get our ICs(full 775 in the spring). Note the gains. So depending on your conversion of 15% or 18% it is somewhere between 560 and 590hp.

here is the post from another forum I made after the flash and exhaust mod:
"On my way to the 775 Blitzkrieg. Stage 1 complete. ECU flash and exhaust modification. Before and after dyno Wifey on her way home Car runs like a charm, no different than stock unless you punch it. Second gear rolling and stepping on it will causes the traction control to come on - niiiiiiiice. TPC also gives you a little switch box that allows you to flash your car back to stock when service etc is required. Later when the full package is completed the switchbox will contain several different mappings you can chose from - niiiiiiiccce. As always, Mike's work is absolutely awesome. Thanks Tom and Casey. After getting the TPC turbo for my Cayman, buying the 997TT and have it TPCed wifey said that my car funds are depleted for '09 which translates to having to pamper her for a while before I can dump some more money into my toys "
My Cayman turbo is currently at TPC getting its latest boost, new race header boost controler. The Cayman made 424WHP after turbo upgrade, will see what it does now.
