Pic request: 997 stock 19s painted/p-coated black or grey?

I mounted my black 18" OZ Alleggerita / Alpin snows and a black winter front lip for the winter to replace my painted one I think they look great -- I'll post pics later.

NOW that the 19s are off, I'm considering having them refinished. The silver looks good, but it's not really me. I would love dark gray or gunmetal, but I'm not sure how they end up looking. The stock 19s can look fat when painted because they lose the 2-tone thinning effect they come with from the factory. Any pictures of dark-painted stock 19s?

Thanks in advance.

On a meteor grey 997TT I'd recommend either matte black or a just meteor grey. There are several options obviously but those are the two I'd go with personally.

I agree with Quantum, I have a meteor gray 997 TT and both the colors he recommended would look great on your car!

Hey Russell - I actually just posted something on this a few days ago. I just had my factory wheels painted matte black last week (and had my new winter tires mounted on them). I'm really happy with the change - here are some pics....

Yes! I saw your pics and love them. I am somewhat partial to dark gray wheels, and would like to see how they look too. I have posted pics before but am on my phone and don't have ready access to repost. I will as soon as I can!
