i dont know if anybody has experienced this problem besides me. sometimes when im entering driveways or exiting one, the brake pedal vibrates and it seems like the brakes lock up or are affected somehow.

now i dont go flying off driveways or anything but when im not turning out of a steep one, i dont really stop (2 mph max) and just exit at an angle and usually thats when the problem occurs.

i have the standard brakes and only have 2 pedals (tiptronic) anyone know what the problem may be?

 

old thread i know but i have had this same problem ever since i got the car...is it normal?

In addition i feel the brake pedal locking up a bit even when braking on a slightly uneven surface.

 

a year and some months later, someone has finally chimed in my thread with the same experience. hopefully this time around, we'll get a reply to help us both out

I have the same issue. Cant figure out what it is.

 

Probably your ABS kicking on since it thinks a wheel is locking up (leaving the ground momentarily?)...

 

Agree with Paulumn. Had the same thing repeatedly occur on the GT2 when breaking into a bumpy autocross corner. It's what abs does...

 

Anytime your brake pedal itself pulsates it's probably the ABS, or stability control in some cases.
