I haven't heard of anyone trying the front LEDs out yet and I don't want to be the first either.

Whoops..forgot to answer your question about that. Yes, it can be done but you'd of course have to go with a different bumper and probably control units too. Just have your dealership look up the control units and bumper from a newer 997.2.
