I installed the tinted LED lights on my 2008, 997tt. It was very easy to install, but it did take some time to figure the connections properly since no instruction was provided.
The good part:
The quality is very good (7 or 8 out of 10), and it updates the look of the 997.1
Very easy to remove the old lights and install the new one. No need to remove the bumper
The fit is excellent, you can not tell its aftermarket once installed
The ugly part:
Turn signal warning message
Fog light warning message
Reverse light did not work in the left side.
The resistors are installed inside the lights and it get hot. I am not sure it will be an issue or cause any problem in the future.
I did contact the supplier about the issues, but no response so far
overall I am happy with the end results, but I wish that I don't have to deal with the issues of warning message and the non functioning reverse light.
Would I do it again?
I am not quite sure I will. I love the look of the tinted LED, but with the issues I noticed I would probably go with 997.2 LED
For now, I am keeping them and I will work on fixing the warning message and if I notice any problem with the heat I will replace them with 997.2 lights.
If I get the issues fixed and if the heat generated will not cause any problem, I will be very happy and I think they will be one of the best aftermarket products for the 997.1

The heat issue is also concerning me and I hope I can fix the backup light
I wish we get higher quality product for the money we are paying

Hi Raed, They look nice on your TT. I assume you have ROW spec. TT at middle East and the signal warning light still on. I've spent some time to fix the warning light and 6ohm 50W resistors will work. If you can't find the right resistors there. I can included them with your CF steering wheel cover package. Let me know!
