Dancing to a Different Tune: New 6speedonline 997.2TT PDK (w/ stock turbos) Record :D
Hi All,
Over the past few months, some of you have followed my progress with my car's mods, on looks and performance.
Setting aside the visual mods, the performance related mods I made are as follows:
Car: 997.2 TT PDK 2010
Mods:
1- Softronic Tune
2- BMC Racing filter
3- Europipe Exhaust
4- Protomotive/TPC Racing 5" Hybrid Intercoolers with SwainTech heat dissipating ceramic coating
Initially, I felt that the car had a lot more to give and that the price I paid for all the mods wasn't reflected in the performance gains I saw.
Well, Scott Slauson, owner of Softronic, worked very closely with me over the past months and a couple of days ago, we had a major breakthrough.
Scott Sent me the latest revised tune which I installed on the car and went out for some PBox runs.
Boy, was I surprised by the outcome!
Ambient temperature was 11.5 degrees Celsius.
No Humidity to speak of.
Gas used was 93 Octane pump gas.
Outcome: New 6speedonline record for 997.2 PDK cars with stock turbos
Before I post the results, I want to say that the original PBox files were emailed to our moderator, Scott (Divexxtreme) and were duly verified by him.
First: 100 to 200 kph and 60 to 130 mph run:
Run started at around 65 kph (43 mph)
Here are the charts:

Results achieved:
60 to 130 mph in 7.24 Seconds

and 100 to 200 kph in 6.13 Seconds

I also ran the car from zero (standstill) to 300 kph.
Important to note that my tires are worn and that before I wore out my tires I used to achieve 0 to 100 kph in 3.1 seconds.
On this run, my 0 to 100 kph was 3.62 due to wheel spin.
Here's the chart:

200 to 300 kph time achieve was 18.61 Seconds

and 0 to 300 kph time achieved was 28.91 seconds, despite the wheel spin start

Heartfelt thanks to all the 6speeders, members and moderators here whose advice went a long way.
Heartfelt thanks to the tuners whose products are on my car.
Special thanks go out to Scott Slauson from Softronic for persevering and always improving.
Scott (Divexxtreme) verified my runs and confirmed that Shadowfax is, for the time being, the fastest verified 997.2 TT PDK (w/ stock turbos) on 6speedonline.
6speedonline's official 60-130, 1/4 Mile, and Standing Mile list
May this record be soon broken and bettered to benefit us all

No bro. You got it wrong.
You are calculating the 0 to 300 time results.
The 100 to 200 time of 6.13 seconds was a different and separate run (not during the 0 to 300 run) also verified by Scott.
So was the 60 to 130 time.

you got it wrong number is number.
if you take 200-300 from 0-300 time results it shows 18,6 sec, it's simple.
btw very nice results !
now you need to modify your turbines if your engine will handle it of course.

How is it difficult to understand two different runs with two different results?
On the 0 to 300 run, the 100 to 200 time was indeed 6.69.
But that was not the best 100-200 time I achieved.
On a different run, also verified by Scott, I achieved the 6.13 100 to 200 time.
Scott attested to that on this thread.
Care to ask him by PM, please feel free.
Also, what are you trying to prove? 3.8 liter engine is weaker? So what?

they are different runs not only one. His best was 6.13 and as you know you can achieve better 100-200 rolling from 80kmh. Great numbers Karim and hopefully you will see better timing once your car get out of the plastic surgeon
with couple KG shaved out

Again, so what?
Man, just take a chill pill... I did not say my car is the most powerful car in the world...
That would be your car because you are the strongest and bestest and mightiest...
See where this is going?
