Nice job, what does this conversion costs? What about tip cars, will the PDK buttons work?

YES!
We made more than 100pcs 997.1 steering wheel conversions already
997.1 wheels are generic, you can swap your multifunction tabs or tiptronics tabs from original wheel to the new wheel. There are 2 types of 997.1 wheel
standard type with triangle airbag
sport type with circle airbag

we usually make apple to apple conversion, if you want to retrofit steering wheels between Gen I and Gen II, please check forum for some advise
you also need new airbag and maybe re-programming. sorry can not provide solid answer for the question
